Frosty Morning

Frosty Morning

Under the moon’s silver glow,
The night dawned with an icy blow.
Winter’s reign unleashed its might,
As Arctic air enveloped the night.
Through frost-laden streets, we tread,
In awe of the freeze, with bated breath.

In the north, snowflakes gently fall,
Blanketing landscapes, one and all.
The Met Office warns with a yellow hue,
Of treacherous roads and ice anew.
Yet the beauty of winter, we embrace,
As we marvel at nature’s icy grace.

Cold envelopes us in its bitter embrace,
Whispering tales of nature’s relentless chase.
Yet amidst the freeze, our spirits ignite,
As we find warmth in love’s gentle light.
For in winter’s grasp, we find solace and peace,
And in its frozen grip, our worries cease.

Frozen rivers glisten, a sight to behold,
As winter’s story continues to unfold.
With each step we take, the crunch of snow,
The world covered in a soft, white glow.
In this frozen wonderland, we find release,
From the chaos of life, we find our peace.

The sun makes a timid appearance at last,
Breaking the spell of the winter cast.
As temperatures inch above freezing’s hold,
A promise of warmth, a story yet untold.
In the heart of winter, we find strength,
For even amidst cold, the sun extends its length.

So let us revel in this frozen embrace,
Finding beauty in the frost, with grace.
Though temperatures plummet and winds subside,
Winter’s allure we shall never hide.
For in the heart of Britain’s icy shores,
Winter’s coldest night, our spirit adores.
