Ignorance Shouldn’t Be Rewarded

Ignorant word, let out by a heartless scoundrel
Shouldn’t lead to hate that would bring a man to throw a punch
But it did, resulting in an unjust battle
And a criminal charge earned by the one who did the crime with such a crunch

Emotions proved too strong, and logic was unheard
But an answer of peace was wanted, and a lesson to be learned
Lashing out with violence should not be the result
Harming someone should come with proper consequence and a soul that’s hurled

Grievousness should not be the answer
Taking action unjustly should bring pain and hurt
But learning to forgive and moving on, what we must do
To prevent and create a solution, since this situation won’t ever work

Living with respect and kindness should be the plan
What a JoCo student has done is not the plan, far too unman
Hence why the criminal charge was necessary for him to pay
For the wrong bewilderment he showed that very day
