Ignored Legacy

Ignored Legacy

Title: Ignored Legacy

As time unfolds, a tale untold,
Our family home, a story bold,
My parents wavered, made a choice,
To bestow favor upon their voice.

They confessed not, their hidden plan,
No hint to me, nor my sister’s clan,
But there he stood, the youngest heir,
Our family legacy, placed in his care.

Is it just, this twisted tale?
A legacy lost, cries to prevail,
For blood we share, roots entwined,
Yet silence speaks, with words unkind.

But amidst this pain, a question looms,
Does moral obligation fill the rooms?
To share the home, a rightful stride,
Or keep the power, that he denies.

Yet seeds of love cannot be bound,
Injustice cries, echoes resound,
For a family’s bond, forever joined,
He must heed, the ties that bind.
