In Gaza, the cries of anguish resound,
A crisis of severity profound,
Yet Senators find the aid system unfit,
For the severity of suffering in their midst.

Where destitution reigns, hope faces defeat,
Incompatible structures fail to meet,
The weight of human suffering so vast,
Floundering in a system wrought with contrast.

As politicians debate, lives hang in despair,
A humanitarian crisis beyond compare,
Incompatible responses, bureaucracy’s show,
Leaving Gaza’s people forsaken, in woe.

Let hearts unite to heal this tragic plight,
Incompatible systems we must rewrite,
For the cries of Gaza will not be quelled,
Until compassion and aid are amply held.
