Injustice Revealed

Inmate who tried to take justice,
Stabbed the unjust Derek Chauvin,
Attempted murder to stop oppression
Though his name may fade to “nothin'”,

Derek Chauvin who caused so much grief,
Provoked cowardly acts of relief,
Now faces a painful retribution
For his heinous misdeeds and elusion,

No one was pardoned no matter how fair,
For the criminal Chauvin’s calumny he’d bear,
Until someone thought he’d take a stand,
With a stab from the sharped point of a hand,

Though justice was expected from court,
That day it was acted with a sport,
An inmate thought he’d bring a change,
Through an act of brutality so strange,

The murderer Chauvin can no longer speed,
He’ll be facing the suffering of his own deed,
No act of violence will bring rightful peace,
But at least some justice can now increase,
