Ink Stained Truths
Ink Stained Truths
Within the scorched battleground of strife,
Where shadows danced with bullets cold,
Journalists gallantly braved their life,
In search of stories, they were bold.
With pens etched in righteous might,
They wrote of a war-ravaged land,
Chronicling tales bathed in daylight,
Unraveling truths, hand in hand.
Their words, like a warrior’s sword,
Cut through the haze of propaganda,
Illuminated the voiceless, untoward,
Bearing witness to the darkest agenda.
Silenced amidst the cries of woe,
Their pens were stolen, ink ne’er dripped,
But their spirit burned, a fierce glow,
For their sacrifice, our hearts forever gripped.
May their names rise like sunlit stars,
Reminding us of their unwavering quest,
To report the truth, break iron bars,
In memory of lives forever blessed.
