Left Behind

Title: Left Behind

Garbage piles up, a tumultuous sight,
Republicans react, filled with disdain and spite.
Colorado’s ballot, Trump’s name nowhere to be found,
A blow to his reign, a political battleground.

The GOP cries foul, accusations flow,
Claiming conspiracy, their anger begins to grow.
But with every protest and every bitter word,
Their desperation shines, like a wounded bird.

The party divided, an internal strife,
As Trump’s absence cuts like a double-edged knife.
Fractures deepen, trust begins to erode,
The foundation crumbles, in pieces it’s stowed.

But amidst the chaos, a glimmer of hope,
A chance for a party’s evolvement to cope.
For beyond the garbage, a chance to redefine,
A future without Trump, a chance to realign.

Unity beckons, a choice to be made,
To salvage their reputation, to not fade.
Will they embrace change, or cling to the past?
The answer lies within, a decision so vast.

Garbage, Republicans, Trump, Colorado’s ballot, division, hope
