Melted Stars

Melted Stars

Melted Stars

Beneath Parisian skies, the mint’s fire roared,
As silver coins turned liquid, their fate sealed,
E.U. deemed the stars, once bright, obscured,
Molten metal flowed, secrets unrevealed.

The crowd watched in awe, a shimmering dance,
Vibrant constellations fading away,
Lost in a molten sea, their final chance,
To light up the night, a celestial display.

But whispers persist, the stars’ story untold,
Their faded glow a mystery to believe,
As Paris mint melts, memories unfold,
In liquid silver, the stars find reprieve.
