The shelves, once adorned with jewels so bright,
Now void and empty, without their light.
First-party games, once cherished and adored,
Disappear, leaving fans feeling ignored.
Super Mario, with his jumps and his hops,
Now sits on shelves with only a few props.
Zelda, exploring lands both new and old,
Now left to gather dust, growing unnoticed and cold.
Metroid, with its space-age tales and intrigue,
Now a relic lost, no longer in league.
Pokémon, with its monsters charming and rare,
Now faded memories, left floating in the air.
Donkey Kong, swinging from vine to vine,
Now forgotten, lost in the passage of time.
Animal Crossing, with its cozy, quaint feel,
Now a distant memory, its charm no longer real.
Oh, Nintendo, where have your treasures gone?
Once abundant, now they seem withdrawn.
These games that once sparked joy and delight,
Now slip away, lost in a fading twilight.
