Poised to Rise
Poised to Rise
When shadows of politics loom,
A shift in the air, a hint of gloom,
Jeremy Corbyn’s presence, strong and bold,
For a rival party, his story yet untold.
With a touch of rebellion, he takes the stage,
Seeking to reshape, to rewrite the page,
Keir Starmer, weary, feels the blow,
As Corbyn’s influence begins to grow.
The spirit of socialism, ignited anew,
Stirs fires of passion, a movement true,
The battle for power, a contest of might,
In this political dance, who will shine bright?
Ah, the whispers of change, whispers so fierce,
As Corbyn’s presence, relentless and pierce,
The future uncertain, the future unknown,
But in this fractured landscape, seeds may be sown.
In this tale of rivalry, of power’s plea,
The search for true leadership, I long to see,
Yet amidst the chaos and jostling schemes,
Will the voice of the people come forth, it seems?
As the stage is set for a political play,
Corbyn’s ambitions may sway the day,
But in the end, it is up to us all,
To navigate this journey, heed the call.
