Reflections of Redemption

Title: Reflections of Redemption
The ghostly apparitions tell a tale,
Through Scrooge’s night, their presence prevails,
As shadows of the past reveal contrite hearts,
Transforming misery into heavenly art.
The chains of greed, that bound his soul,
Link by link, their weight took a toll,
But redemption’s light, like a shimmering star,
Guided him towards salvation from afar.
The Cratchit family, humble and poor,
Dwell in love, their spirits endure,
In their meager feast, a message clear,
Compassion and kindness conquer all fear.
Tiny Tim, his spirit pure and bright,
Shines a beacon, a harbinger of delight,
His fragile frame a testament profound,
That love and faith can heal all wounds.
The spirit of Christmas yet to come,
Revealed a future, obscure and glum,
With graves unmarked, a solemn sight,
A warning to change before endless night.
Scrooge awakened, a brand-new man,
With a heart renewed, his soul began,
To spread goodwill, generosity, and cheer,
Embracing the true meaning of this time of year.
