Rivers of Empathy

Rivers of Empathy

Title: Rivers of Empathy

In the depths of despair, a river is born,
Where tears flow freely, anguish to adorn.
A tale unfolds, of wounds that run deep,
Of a soul wounded, forced to silently weep.

Accusations flung, like arrows on fire,
Filled with venom, fueled by anger’s dire.
Relentless, the storm of words didn’t cease,
As empathy drowned, consumed by malice.

But amidst the chaos, a voice courageously spoke,
Against the injustice, a foundation of hope.
No longer a victim, she rose above the pain,
And sought solace, a sanctuary to regain.

To lands unknown, she fled to find peace,
A sanctuary her heart yearned to release.
Far from the torment, she craved a new start,
To heal and mend, to nurture her heart.

Oh, let the rivers of empathy flow,
As understanding and compassion sow.
May wounds be soothed and hatred be gone,
In this river of empathy, we all belong.
