When love’s embraced, yet met with ridicule.

A symphony of voices, pleading skies,
Echoing truths, each tear it implies.
Yet deafened ears and blinded eyes,
Turn away from pain, from truth’s demise.

Oh, the irony that we must bear,
When compassion’s flame fails to flare.
For in this fight, it’s lives at stake,
A battle that conscience must never forsake.

Hope flickers still, amidst the despair,
Strength in unity, resilience we share.
Until the day when sense returns,
And compassion reigns, trust rebuilds and discerns.
