Shadowed Faith
Title: Shadowed Faith
In the heart of North London’s busy streets,
A shocking incident of hatred repeats,
An orthodox Jewish man, his head thrown back,
Struck by a dark force on a two-wheeled track.
Faith woven in every thread of his cloak,
He walks serene, a righteousness evokes,
Yet darkness lingers, fueled by prejudice and hate,
A community targeted, in fear they navigate.
The blow, a reminder of a world unkind,
Where intolerance festers, surpassing the mind,
But in the face of adversity, they stand tall,
United against bigotry, they won’t fall.
A scar on the conscience of a diverse nation,
A plea for justice, for compassion’s salvation,
Let us rally together, condemn this act so vile,
Spread understanding, and strengthen the fragile.
May rays of hope dispel the darkness cast,
Through education, embracing a future vast,
For love and acceptance will always transcend,
As unity paves the way for bigotry to end.
