Shadows in the Sky

Shadows in the Sky

Title: Shadows in the Sky

Shadows loom in the vast expanse above,
Where dreams of travel falter, grounded low.
A sudden bang, a trembling wing to prove,
The fear that all hearts now secretly know.
An Alaska Airlines flight, a fateful tale,
Caught in the grip of destiny’s cruel test.
From blue abyss, distress signals unveil,
A warning to heed, we must do our best.

Restraining wings, the FAA takes charge,
An urgent response to protect and save.
In silence, anxious hearts begin to barge,
Demanding answers, freedom from this grave.
The 737 Max jets remain idle,
Their once soaring souls shackled to the ground.
With hope and caution, the hearts of the crowd kindle,
A beacon of safety yet to be found.

Undying strength fuels our relentless quest,
To mend the wounds inflicted on the sky.
With knowledge gained, past failures put to rest,
We strive for safer flight, we dare not comply.
The lessons learned bring forth a brand new age,
Where skies again offer solace, not dread.
The wings that bear our dreams shall not assuage,
For we shall rise again, by courage led.
