Title: Shadows of Agony

My back pain is so severe,
A haunting spectre that lingers near,
It grips my body with icy hold,
Leaving me frightened, weak, and cold.

Each step I take, an uphill battle,
A pain-filled journey, a painful rattle,
Whispers of doubt echo in my mind,
Will I lose my ability to walk, confined?

I long for the days of carefree youth,
When my back was strong, filled with truth,
But now I’m trapped in a web of strife,
Yearning for freedom, an escape from this life.

I search for solace, a glimmer of hope,
Longing for a way to help me cope,
But the pain persists, relentless and cruel,
A constant reminder of my daunting duel.

Yet amidst the darkness, a light shines through,
Supportive hands offering strength anew,
With grit and determination, I’ll fight this war,
To reclaim my mobility and soar.

Though my back pain may try to bind,
I refuse to let it steal my mind,
For I know deep within my core,
I am more than pain, I am so much more.
