A blood bank once admired, now achingly aghast,
Abusing innocent beings, their cruelties amassed.

Creatures entrusted, depleted for their needs,
Their anguish unseen, their cries lost in creeds,
Sold for profit, their lives rendered depraved,
A heartbreaking reality, temptation’s wicked charade.

Ignoble acts committed, trust shattered to dust,
For profit-seeking hands, morality a mere crust,
Unleashing potential harm with each tainted blood,
The safety of recipients? Know not if false or good.

Behind the facade, cruelty’s cold tendrils creep,
Betraying loyalty, where shadows mourn and weep,
Hope flickers dimly amidst this darkened bout,
Warding off injustice, amid the victims’ shout.

Yet strength arises from compassion’s sacred vow,
Urging the world to awaken, to disavow,
To advocate for those silenced, mistreated, abused,
For in unity’s force, change shall be infused.
