Shadows of Deception

Shadows of Deception

Title: Shadows of Deception

In shadows veiled, a web was spun,
Where truth and wisdom were undone,
Beneath the guise of research’s claim,
Funds were funneled, with muffled disdain.

Amidst the hallowed halls of learning,
Knowledge twisted, bending, turning,
Misinformation sprouted like weeds,
Inoculating minds with poisonous seeds.

Once, academia shone as a beacon,
Promoting dialogue, ideas unbroken,
But now, dissent is silenced, suppressed,
Replaced by narratives, skillfully dressed.

Under the guise of research so grand,
Censorship reigned, with heavy hand,
Silencing free thought, thoughtfully refined,
Tyranny cloaked in a scholar’s design.

But truth shall not be held at bay,
For courage arises, come what may,
In the face of deceit, we shall stand tall,
Unmasking the shadows that seek to enthrall.

Let us reclaim our right to know,
To seek the light where falsehoods grow,
For united we rise, a nation revived,
And from the ashes of deception, we’ll thrive.
