Shadows of Inequality

Shadows of Inequality

Title: Shadows of Inequality

Amidst the realm of towering giants,
America’s big banks stand tall,
But behind the facade of progress,
Lies a shroud of inequality’s thrall.

They preach of racial equity,
A noble aim, or so they claim,
Yet capital standards evade their grasp,
Their true intentions hidden, to their shame.

In the realm of small business lending,
A veil of secrecy they wear,
Demographics held in clandestine grips,
A portrait of bias they refuse to share.

Oh, the silence echoes loudly,
As dreams of entrepreneurs falter,
The marginalized remain unheard,
Struggling amidst exclusion’s alter.

Yet, let us peel away the layers,
Unmask the shadows, seek the truth,
For only in transparency’s light,
Can justice reign and inequities dilute.
