Shadows of Sorrow
Title: Shadows of Sorrow
In gory grip, a land divided,
As battles rage, hopes subsided,
Gaza’s people yearn for peace,
Amidst the chaos, prayers increase.
A flicker of hope ignites the night,
A deal to bring relief in sight,
Medicine for hostages who weep,
An answer to the prayers they keep.
Yet across the borders, tensions rise,
Echoes of sorrow fill the skies,
United States, an ominous shift,
Returning Houthis, causing rift.
As terror lists its victims claim,
Fear grips the hearts, engulfing flame,
The cycle repeats, dark clouds entwine,
A never-ending tale of decline.
But hope withstands the burdened souls,
Bridging gaps, fulfilling their roles,
For within the ashes, seeds still lie,
Of peace and love that may yet fly.
May the ashes of despair transform,
Into a light, a beacon to inform,
That wars shall cease, and wounds shall heal,
And broken hearts will rise, revealed.
