Shattered Innocence

Shattered Innocence

Shattered Innocence

In the courtroom, as truth emerged,
Jonathan Majors felt his world reversed,
Echoing in his ears, the words betray,
Shocked and afraid, he faced a disarray.

Justice’s gavel fell with resounding might,
While darkness eclipsed his hopes in the night,
Tears welled up, a cascade of sorrow’s reign,
As freedom faded into a haunting chain.

Within the depths of uncertainty’s guise,
Hope flickered, as innocence never dies,
Pushing forward, he sought to reclaim,
The shattered fragments of his tainted name.

Courage, the solace in adversity’s hold,
Unyielding spirit, anew, onward bold,
Redemption’s quest, a tale yet untold,
Rising above the anguish, strong and gold.

Keywords: shocked, afraid, innocence, justice, shattered, redemption.
