Silent Echoes

Silent Echoes

Silent Echoes

Amidst the wreckage of a shattered dream,
Where justice teetered, lost its righteous gleam,
A union’s voice resounds with fervent plea,
To keep the fallen hero’s memory.

They cry for justice, weary and betrayed,
For behind cold walls, evil was arrayed,
The cop killer must face the bars once more,
To quell the pain that mourning hearts endure.

In darkness, echoes of a tragic past,
A plea revived, from shadows that outlast,
The cries for closure, never to subside,
Until the guilty, back behind bars reside.

With solemn passion, they demand the truth,
To unearth answers, buried deep like sooth,
So hope can blossom in hearts that still ache,
And healing triumphs over evil’s wake.

But as the battle rages, heart and soul,
The spirit lingers, guiding towards the goal,
Of holding tight to justice, swift and fair,
With unity, we can protect and care.
