Silent Shadows

Silent Shadows

Title: Silent Shadows

In silence, shadows cloak the halls,
Where secrets reside and power sprawls.
The Pentagon chief, a warrior strong,
Lies in frailty, weakened for too long.

Whispers masked by echoes’ sigh,
A secret held as time goes by.
His battle hidden from our sight,
Days turn to weeks, concern takes flight.

A nation waits, unaware and blind,
Unknowing the hardships he must find.
His absence felt, though not revealed,
In invisible wounds, the heart concealed.

Yet now the truth breaks its silent chains,
Revealing the struggle, the unseen pains.
Prayers intertwine, hopes rise anew,
As the hospital walls hold the brave and true.

Let courage and strength embrace his plight,
Guiding him back from darkness to light.
For he, who leads with honor and might,
Shall conquer this battle, regain his flight.
