Silent Tears

Silent Tears

Silent Tears

A life cut short, a tragic fate,
Upon the island’s desolate gate.
A migrant’s dreams shattered, undone,
By the cruelty of a merciless gun.

In search of hope, a better life,
He journeyed on through toil and strife.
But fate’s cruel hand would soon arise,
And darkness claimed both truth and lies.

Within the shelter, he sought reprieve,
A sanctuary in which to believe.
But violence lurked in shadows deep,
Stealing his dreams as he lay asleep.

His tender soul, now forever lost,
Silent tears fall from friends who crossed,
Their grief and pain, an endless sea,
For a life stolen in senseless tragedy.

Gone too soon, his spirit engraved,
In search of solace, justice is craved.
May we remember, his story untold,
In the struggles faced by the brave and bold.

Migrant, dreams, shattered, violence, tragedy, journey.
