Snowfall Delight
Snowfall Delight
Snowflakes dance, gently twirling,
Britain braces for winter’s hurling,
Golden warnings cast their glow,
Amid icy gusts that swirl and blow.
Roads shiver under freezing breath,
Commuter’s tales of white death,
Rail lines freeze, causing delay,
Snow’s charm turns to disarray.
Children laugh, with joy untamed,
Building snowmen, dreams untamed,
Winter wonderland, now embraced,
In a world of innocence, embraced.
Nature paints, a scene so rare,
Blanketing all with a tender care,
Silent beauty, glistening white,
Transforming darkness into light.
Footprints etched, a story told,
Journey’s struggle, brave and bold,
Amidst the chaos, strength is found,
Resilience in winter’s battleground.
Yet hope arises, a promise of spring,
As snowflakes melt, a farewell brings,
For in this frozen wonderland we know,
Fresh blooms will bloom and rivers will flow.
