Snowflakes of Our Nation
Once a land of strength and might,
Now a breed of delicate hearts,
Whiny milksops, frail and slight,
Afraid to face our own parts.
Gone are the days of grit and brawn,
Replaced by grievance, weak and meek,
Faces marred with tears withdrawn,
Unwillingness to strive and seek.
We’ve become a nation of fragile souls,
Taking offense with utmost speed,
An overreaction that takes its tolls,
Turning strength into a trivial need.
Oh, judge, you spoke the truth so clear,
Snowflakes we’ve become in every way,
Unable to handle words we hear,
Melting at the first sign of dismay.
But let us rise above this state,
Reclaiming valor, shedding the freeze
