Spiraling Turmoil
Spiraling Turmoil
On Ecuador’s distressed soil, chaos stirs,
A nation gripped by lawlessness and fear.
Drug gangs run rampant, their presence stark,
Terrorizing streets with violence and dark.
The President’s decree, a desperate plea,
To neutralize twenty cartels that be.
Yet in this battle for order and peace,
The line between right and wrong starts to cease.
TV shows, once symbols of entertainment’s cheer,
Became a stage for thugs, their malice clear.
Parading hostages, fear etched on their face,
A reminder of our world’s twisted embrace.
Nightfall descends, a menacing shroud,
As innocence must hide from dangerous crowds.
Threats of execution, a chilling decree,
Imposing terror on all who long to be free.
Oh, lawless Ecuador, can hope yet arise?
In the face of darkness, light will still shine.
United we stand, against this cruel plight,
Seeking justice, restoring tranquility’s might.
