Standing Strong Against Targeted Takedowns
Title: Standing Strong Against Targeted Takedowns
In the hallowed halls of Harvard, a history is made,
Claudine Gay, first Black president, a powerful accolade,
With courage and resilience, she takes her esteemed place,
Championing justice and equity, with unwavering grace.
She calls upon us, united, to protect what is right,
To stand up against targeted takedowns, shining a light,
For progress knows no color, no race, no divide,
With empathy and understanding, let us all strive.
In a world consumed by judgment, discrimination, and hate,
We must rise above, renew our compassion’s vibrant state,
With unity as armor, holding truth as our guide,
We’ll dismantle the barriers, restore justice nationwide.
So let us be the voices, amplifying the silenced,
Breaking down walls of indifference, where hatred once danced,
For in solidarity, we find strength, hope, and change,
Together, we can rewrite this narrative so strange.
In homage to Claudine Gay, esteemed leader of our time,
The charge now falls to all of us, to rhyme,
To stand up against targeted takedowns, united we’ll be,
Embracing diversity, carving a world that’s truly free.
