Tales of Gifting Woes
Title: Tales of Gifting Woes
Once upon a holiday night, filled with cheer,
I set out to find gifts, spreading festive cheer.
Little did I know, the troubles in store,
As I embarked on this gifting endeavor like never before.
First, for dear Aunt Sue, I chose a sweater so bright,
A terrible choice, for she was allergic to wool’s delight.
Next came my brother, with a gaming obsession,
But the game I picked was outdated, causing frustration.
Oh, the horror continued, as I ventured on,
To find something for Granny, who loves to knit and don.
Alas! I presented her with incomplete needles,
Sending her into a fit, as she searched for the missing pieces.
Then there was my friend, who adored fine wine,
But what I gifted her was vinegar, oh what a brine!
And for my love, a delicate piece of glass,
Shattering upon mere touch, my heart aghast.
In retrospect, these tales of gifting terror,
Bring laughter and smiles, a joyful error.
For amidst these mishaps, I learned lessons anew,
That the greatest gift is love, sincere and true.
