The Exodus Cry

The Exodus Cry

The Exodus Cry

Inflammatory words ignite the flame,
Israeli ministers seeking to blame,
Gazans lost in tumultuous despair,
A plea for peace flies on deafened air.

Humanity yearns for compassion’s grace,
Bondage shattered in the darkest space,
Brotherhood blooms where hatred had grown,
Unity born, a love yet unknown.

Yet in this narrative’s bitter plot,
Calls for relocation hit a deaf spot,
For dignity and freedom they seek,
Palestinian souls, unbowed yet weak.

In the distance, hope silently gleams,
Through shattered dreams and shattered scenes,
For in this bleakness, love still resides,
A glimmer of light that forever abides.

In dialogue and empathy sown,
Paths of understanding shall be known,
Hand in hand, we shall rise above,
United by compassion and love.
