Expectations weighing heavy on their hearts,
Desperate for success, their minds confound,
As stress and burnout tear them apart.

Loneliness creeps in like a silent thief,
Virtual connections cannot fill the void,
Isolation, a burden they silently carry,
In silence and shadows, their despair is deployed.

Seeking validation in instant gratification,
Likes and followers become their measure,
But amidst the noise, they lose their own identification,
Caught in a race where self-esteem finds no treasure.

But let us break the cycle, let us embrace,
A world where mental health finds its place,
With compassion and understanding, we shall erase,
The shadows that haunt this generation’s space.
