The Silent Roar

The Silent Roar

Title: The Silent Roar

Tom Cotton claims Trump kept us “safe,”
As Covid whispers its solemn plea,
With bated breath, we face the night,
The truth veiled amidst uncertainty.

In the land of turmoil and strife,
Where shadows dance ‘neath feeble light,
Covid’s whispers grow louder now,
A symphony of fears held tight.

Through empty streets and shuttered doors,
We witness the world’s silent tears,
As life’s symphony’s disrupted,
Hope flickers, fading with our years.

Yet, still, defiance finds a voice,
Within hearts weary, but unbowed,
United we stand, resolute,
For a safer world we do vow.

The echoes of our past abide,
Reminders of strength we hold dear,
Together, we’ll weather this storm,
With compassion, we’ll conquer our fear.
