Too High a Price
Blood spilled, planes flight, tanks encroach, men lost,
Ukraine ravaged, Russia’s ‘tolerance’ high at an immense cost.
France and NATO send strong messages to the Bear,
In such losses, no victory can ever be fair.
Russian pride and aggression cresting yet unworn,
Question of victory deferred, price still to mourn.
Bold actions so costly, wrongs yet to right,
No sense of the consequences, long into the night.
