Trapped Shadows

Trapped Shadows

Title: Trapped Shadows

Beneath a tormented sky of blackened haze,
Where anguish scorched the hearts in dim-lit maze,
Three souls imprisoned, yearning for their dawn,
In binding chains, their hopes stood strangely torn.
Mistaken bullets pierced their fading breath,
An error made that led to bitter death.

With shattered dreams, their voices silenced now,
These hostages, unbound, await their vow,
In mourning depths, where tears cascade like rain,
Their spirits soar above this earthly pain.
Yet questions linger, whispers in the air,
Why innocence must suffer; life so unfair?

Oh, Israel’s torment, a twisted sorrow,
Where cries converge, in desperate tomorrows.
Gaza, a bitter stage, riddled with fear,
A battleground soaked in unending tears.
Melancholy’s shroud drapes lovingly ’round,
A land torn apart, its pain profound.

In shadows cast by flickering candlelight,
Their memories, like phantoms, dance through the night.
Families left with fragments of the past,
In hearts and minds, these moments shall outlast.
It is in forgiveness where true strength lies,
To heal the wounds, let peace within us rise.

Yet lessons gather, so we may not forget,
The cost of lives, a price we can’t reset.
May harmony emerge from darkest hours,
Unite our hearts in love, like blossoming flowers.
Peace, justice, mercy seek to intertwine,
And sow the seeds for a tomorrow divine.
