Turbulent Skies
Turbulent Skies
Behind the veil of night, a pilot’s plight,
Tales of treachery, darkness taking flight,
Targeted outside a supermarket’s wall,
A journey of horror, a tale to befall.
In distant lands, a stopover’s reprieve,
Betwixt two flights, darkness sought to deceive,
Silenced and captured, stripped of his control,
A sky captain’s fate, his soul nearly stole.
Torturous hands, an agony untold,
The sky’s guardian, shackled and sold,
But in his heart, a spirit unyielding,
A strength unbowed, his redemption awaiting.
Through the wreckage of his tortured dreams,
Resilience shines, like sun’s golden beams,
A beacon of hope, defiance in his eyes,
A testament to triumph’s endless skies.
For within him stirs the courage anew,
A British lion, fierce and true,
From the ashes he rises, unbroken, unbowed,
A pilot’s resilience, forever endowed.
