Ukraine’s Limited Armour
Ukraine’s Limited Armour
Beneath Ukraine’s sky, a tale unfolds,
Leopard 2 tanks, once resolute and bold,
Now dormant, they wait, their engines consumed,
For Europe’s frail hand, has left them marooned.
Battles won and fought, on lands far apart,
But now, they remain tarnished, with wounds etched in heart,
Europe’s spare parts grow scarce, like dreams lost at sea,
And Ukraine’s brave soldiers, bear the burden with plea.
A war-torn nation, longing for repair,
Yet, the whispers of hope vanish into thin air,
For the supply dwindles, and so does their plight,
While the echoes of conflict, fade into the night.
A German politician’s voice rings out,
An admission of scarcity, clouded with doubt,
Ukraine’s fate, entwined in political web,
As the world watches on, with hearts clenched in dread.
Ukraine’s Leopard 2 tanks, they silently wait,
In hushed solitude, behind iron gates,
Their destiny uncertain, their resolve still strong,
As Europe grapples with what went wrong.
