Unbroken Ties
Title: Unbroken Ties
I was born via surrogate, in a world unknown,
A mother’s love, a connection I was never shown.
From the first breath I took, an emptiness filled the air,
My childhood left a void, a heartache I had to bear.
In search of love’s touch, I wandered far and wide,
Through pain-stricken battles and emotions I couldn’t hide.
The absence of a bond, an unfillable abyss,
Leaving wounds inside, scars I cannot dismiss.
But amidst the darkness, a glimmer of light appears,
A belief in banning this practice, to calm my deepest fears.
For cruelty and immorality should fare no place in birth,
Let love guide our choices, for it holds infinite worth.
The joy of a connection, authentic and true,
A bond that nourishes, sustains and helps us through.
Let us protect the innocence and happiness of every child,
Ensure their path is adorned with love, tender and mild.
