Unequal Education

Unequal Education

Title: Unequal Education

Beneath the Florida sun, a battle rages on,
A vendetta against equality, where hope seems far withdrawn,
Ron DeSantis’ DEI vendetta, a stain on education’s name,
Leaving behind a chasm of injustice, fueling anger, ire, and shame.

In classrooms, filled with dreams of futures bright and bold,
Black students stand united, their voices strong and bold,
“We deserve the same level of education, the opportunities to thrive,
Like all these other states, it’s time we all truly arrive.”

But alas, disparities prevail, opportunities unfairly denied,
Minds eager for knowledge, brushed aside,
The scales tipped against them, as disparities remain,
Leaving the doors of progress locked, causes deep disdain.

In this fight for justice, unity becomes key,
The power of education, a right for all to see,
For the future lies within the minds yearning to grow,
Unlocking their potential, breaking the chains of woe.

Let us stand together, hand in hand we’ll rise,
Demanding equal education, with passion in our eyes,
For our keyword, “DEI vendetta” speaks of this fight,
To dismantle inequality, and ensure education’s light.
