Unjust Treatment
Shackled to her cell, a victim of her gender
In a bleak male prison with no justice or tender
The medical attention she needs denied and refused
An endless and vicious battle she must now go through
No rights, just wrongs, yet she never breaks
Her voice unheard, denied even the most basic of care
The hate and brutality used to keep her from the fate she seeks
Her heart a battleground of courage, through it all she’ll dare
To challenge the hate, a force of perseverance and will
Unable to break her spirit, such strength can but awe
Discrimination and misuse, despite every hateful fill
She’ll never give in for her is an unyielding law
This fight for freedom, her only hope of escape
A battle for the right to live as her heart desires
The voice of injustice, finally the message taking shape
For equality, on faith, for life, for her she tires
