Title: Unyielding Echoes

I refuse to let the GOP reshape the tale,
Of that somber January day, where darkness prevailed.
I stood witness to the storm, vengeful and shrill,
A day forever etched, in this heart so still.

They hope to rewrite, that moment of pain,
Twisting the narrative, obscuring the stains.
But I hold tight to truth, unyielding and bold,
For the echoes of justice must never be sold.

In the corridors they roam, with whispers and lies,
Trying to mask their complicity, under disguise.
But we remember the anguish, the fear, and the dread,
A nation quaking, as democracy bled.

Let them spin their webs, in their web of deceit,
But the echoes of truth shall never retreat.
For the world watched in horror, as they stormed and attacked,
We shall not forget, nor let them redact.

We stand together in unity, unwavering and strong,
Untouched by their rhetoric, their manipulative song.
For I refuse to let the GOP rewrite our past,
The echoes of Jan. 6, forever they’ll last.
