Weaponizing Words

Weaponizing Words

Title: Weaponizing Words

In shadows dark, I tell a tale,
Of how the truth did wear a veil.
A definition once embraced,
To justify, to claim, to chase.

With righteous words, a weapon formed,
To silence those who dared reform.
Debate suppressed, dissent erased,
Indifference flared, compassion phased.

For Israel’s critics, they did seek,
To label them as foul and weak.
A shield of accusations hurled,
To stifle voices in the world.

The line blurred between critique and hate,
A smokescreen used to agitate.
A cloak, they draped over dissent,
To ensure their power, and prevent.

Yet, in this darkness, a spark still shines,
Of truth, resilience, in these troubled times.
For words have strength, they hold great might,
To tear down walls, to shed more light.

Let us reclaim their mighty force,
To champion justice on our course.
With open minds, we shall unite,
To seek the truth, dispel the blight.
