When Wings Take a Pause
Title: When Wings Take a Pause
Clouds of concern blanket the sky,
As winds of caution whisper by,
From cerulean to greyish shroud,
A fleet of dreams now disallowed.
On wings of hope, they once ascended,
Through azure bounds, hearts unintended,
But fate’s cruel twist, a cabin panel blew,
A mid-flight terror, the sky now asks for a review.
The mighty engines hummed with might,
Guiding souls through day and night,
But from the heavens, a sudden wail,
As safety reigns, and flights derails.
A Boeing 737 Max 9’s flaw exposed,
The FAA acts, all tails are posed,
Grounded they rest, on concrete floors,
Hopes take flight, awaiting restorations’ roars.
The sky wears a veil of pause, it seems,
Yet memories linger in travelers’ dreams,
In time, they’ll soar again, set free,
Untamed by fear, in the skies they’ll be.
Oh, patient captain, keep faith and wait,
For engineering magic to close this gate,
Yet never forget, through this temporary hush,
Safety’s embrace, in your precious trust.
